The Journey Tree
The Journey Tree defined the park-inspired wedding space and guided the circular catwalk - a first of its kind in the UAE.
Our client wanted a tree that was unique, that wasn’t a familiar tree. The final design evolved from a research reference of a tree formation made out of jewellery that sparkled when it caught the light.
Designed on a large scale, the trees featured grapes, leaves, flowers and illuminated buds. The breadth of the installations gave attendees the impression of being immersed into something majestic and magical.
Intricate assembly was required to bring the structures to life. Installation began from the ceiling, with each component added systematically and electrical wires embedded within the trees.
The trees emerged from an elevated patch of greenery and flowers that was repeated throughout the space, complementing the layered landscape of the bridal sofa on the stage.
