Three pop-up restaurants and two lounge areas provided guests of Jeddah Season 2019 with artistic modern spaces in which to fine dine and socialize. Each structure presented our team unique challenges relating to construction and logistics, as well as a short time frame of only three weeks to design and build the project.

The Entrance installation welcomed guests to Jeddah Season and also functioned as a bold lighting landmark. Framing the entry point which led to the pop-up restaurants spaces, the concept was based on the Season’s underwater world theme and was inspired by the appearance of jellyfish.

Nobu restaurant was constructed on the end of a pier and required meticulous planning in order to defy limitations of space, weight, technical requirements, and weather. Interior elements were produced specifically for the client and in accordance with the brand style. Leading up to Nobu, four glass structures on both sides of the pier comprised a high-end cigar lounge, Q Lounge.

The beach location of Scalini required a modular system of design in order to adapt to the environment. The Mediterranean blue tones, striped flooring, wall art, and olive trees combined to give the signature Scalini look. An outside porch offered an al fresco lounge area, as well as hammocks to relax in on the beach.

Due to time constraints, the interior fit out for Gaia was done before the core structure was complete. The refined interior of this Mediterranean estiatorio created a captivating charm and an inviting ambience.

The Shisha area was located on a deserted island, requiring a bridge to be built to gain access before beginning construction. Modular platforms were positioned within the palm grove and provided seating areas of custom-made furniture. Patterned fabric prints gave the tents a contemporary twist and were enlivened by festive lighting
